My first attempt at a drabble--a story of exactly one hundred words.  
Contains minimal spoilers, mostly for Juri's duel from Episode 29, 
"Azure Paler than the Sky".

The Albatross: an Utena Drabble

The cold, quivering blade inches from my cheek tells me that she can't 
hold back this time.  No falling sword will save me now.  She won't
stop until the white petals fly away in the wind.

If it's going to be that way, I'll have to change tactics.

Feel power, the intense rush that explodes the senses in a blaze of
light. Don't look at the orange bit--it's not important.

*aim for the locket the locket the damned locket*

But not for you, Arisugawa-sempai.  Or him.  Or her.

For me.  For my miracle...the only one that came true.
